Purchased this battery holder for my 14′ Jon boat. I have a 55 MinnKota trolling motor and a fish finder which hook up easily with this holder. You get every thing you need with 2 circuit breakers one for your trolling motor and one for accessories that plug into the 2 cigarette lighter plugs. I had to make a power cable for my portable fish finder, so it could be plugged in. Test button on top tells you how much charge you have left in your battery. Sturdy case that makes it easier to carry a 50lb deep cycle battery. I highly reccomend for any need where you are using a heavy duty battery that you will be moving from place to place. I will also be using this to power my 3000lb utility winch. For 110 volt power I hook up my inverter to this power center.

I have a D27 Optima Bluetop in this, it fits perfectly. Just know that this isn’t water PROOF. It will stop most waves and splashes from getting water into it, but if it submerges then it will fill with water. There aren’t seals of any kind to prevent it from filling with water. I give it 5 stars because it has a 10A and 60A fuse, two “cigarette lighter” connections, and the box itself is solidly built.
When I bought my MinnKota trolling motor–my first ever trolling motor–the big box retailer did not carry the MinnKota Power Center, so I bought whatever they had in stock. It turned out to be a complete waste of money, including the fact that their warranty center will not even respond to my complaint. When I realized that it was not going to do the job, I bought the MinnKota Power Center from Amazon (just in time as it turned out before the other one went completely dead). Don’t make my initial mistake–instead, INSIST ON THE MINNKOTA!

Power lugs are fine on both, with the MK still being better quality. Power accessory have not used yet so can not provide any feedback. As stated above I only got the UM for my back up battery case so not overly disappointed, it works for my application, it’s priced low, has a circuit breaker and pwr lugs work fine, so I’ll give it a 2 star rating. However, if your getting this as your primary box for your trolling motor with needs of a higher quality box with a power meter that works, it’s best to spend the extra money on better box. I’m rating the MK with 5 stars
I’ve only used it once but it has done everything I needed it to do. Easy to carry, easy to charge built in circuit breaker and power meter. Very convenient to have everything in one unit and little more than buying everything piece meal. Worth every penny
I got this mainly for the gauge feature that lets me know how much power is left in the battery. I have to so, I got more than I thought. The gauge works great and I am pleased. I am also excited about the ease of use, that is, once you put the battery in and lock the case shut; you can tote it with the handle on the case, it has 2 power outputs on it. I can recharge my cell phone while I fish, or plug in a spot light and look for the banks or fish. It works great and I am very pleased with it.
